Volunteers for Library Needed

We are in need of new daily, duty librarians.  If enough volunteers come forward, a team of two librarians could be on duty each day, and possibly allow us to expand our hours.  See all the details.

New Index Posted!

The Montreal Marriage Index has just been posted. This Marriage index lists non-Catholic marriages from 1760 to 1899 in the Montreal area. Sortable by family name, full name or spouse, it shows the year of the marriage, the church name, and the page number in the church registry. For many years this was only available on paper, then microfilm. Available in the Members section.

Online Library Catalogue

To help preserve our heritage and help you research your ancestors in Quebec, Canada, British Isles, US, and Western Europe, we have filled our library with books, periodicals, CDs, microfilms, microfiche, and electronic resources. Discover what we offer by visiting our online library catalogue. Search by title, author, location, subject and/or media type. Tip: To see all that is available when searching a country or province, remember to also check what is available in a particular county.
